In honor of me finally filling out my Declaration of Major form for my second major, I thought I would share my genius idea.

First let me introduce you to Marcel Duchamp...

He is most famous for what he called "The Fountain".

The photograph is by Alfred Stieglitz. More on Stieglitz later.

Basically that is a urinal, polished up all nice and turned over. In the words of my History of Photography professor "It's very provocative".

This photograph touched something deep within me. It awed me. It inspired me. Mostly it awoke the little part of my mind that is amazed at what people can get away with because it is considered art. So I've decided to create a little art of my own.

I'm going to get a bidet, polish it up all nice, and lay it on its side. How provocative would that be? It says all sorts of stuff about feminism, the plight of women, and gender roles... senior project here I come!
